Clark Shoes have endured for a number of years, since the 1950′s. A family owned business since their time in England, Clark Shoes were inspired and fashioned from the British officers during World War II. This inspriation gave birth to the Desert Boot. Immediately following came The Wallabee, another design still around today. A decade later before The Weallabee, researchers of the company decided to change the sole to rubber. A great decision as it brought about even more comfort. The 1970s brought about sole-change again. After quite a bit of research, the shoes adopted a polyurethane sole. It was lightweight, indestructible and revolutionary. Since then, they’ve begun using air in the soles. This is just a short history of Clarks Shoes. But what makes Clarks Shoes so famous.

I guess the one thing that stands out about Clarks Shoes is their style and comfort. The problem with most shoes is that they need to be broken in before some sort of comfort is realized. Not in the case of Clarks. They don’t need as much breaking in and women can choose from a assortment of casual, dress casual, clogs, sandals and originals. Clarks did not forget about the men.
